Turnagain News INN NewsMatch Fundraiser enters second week

Last week the Turnagain News, your local, community on-line newspaper had over $650.00 of private donations that translated into $1,300 for week one of the eight-week NEWSMATCH-INN.org, of the annual fundraiser for their membership for your paper.

Our challenge is on. It is our goal to reach the $13,000 by December 31st, the NEWSMATCH limit for our first year of local community news that is important to the Communities of the Turnagain Arm! Each week, we will post our weekly donation amount and share with our progress to meeting this goal. This dollar-for-dollar match is made possible, by INN.org-Independent News Network. This is an amazing, supportiveorganization of over 400+ local, community, non-profit, newspapers in the US. TurnagainNews.org, is one of these 400+, Community driven newspapers that the INN-NEWSMATCH are supporting with this fundraising platform.
Your donation has an IMPACT of TWO! It raises awareness for non-profit journalism that matters in our community. Watch your gift/donation of $5, $10, $50, $100 or more tun into double impact! We are hoping to double our fundraising efforts on a weekly basis during this fundraising match period in meeting our goal. We are a non-profit, newspaper supporting our Community with factual, news stories that matter to our communities.
Our achievable, goal this week is $1,300. It could be 10 people that donate, $130; or 15 people donating $86 or 20 people donating $65 or 33 people donating $32. Whatever the number, is please donate. (PS. We have had over 5,000 people read our paper in the past 90 days (WOW!) So, getting 33 or say 50 people to make a small, tax-deductible, donation shouldn’t be so hard. )
I’ll be back, next week with our second week results and hope we can continue to exponentially grow our donations to meet this year’s goal.
